Learn how to edit the content of your default Contact, Terms & Conditions, or Privacy Policy pages, and how to add links to these pages in your website's navigation menus.
Overview
Your Little Box Office website includes default pages such as Contact, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy. You can customise the content of these pages to suit your organisation, as well as add links to them in your website's header, footer, or top bar.
Amending the Page Content
To edit the content of one of the default pages:
1. In the admin area, navigate to Website > Pages.
2. Click the page you would like to edit (for example, Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy).
3. If you would like to add additional template blocks to the page, you can do so at this stage. If you only want to update the existing content, you can skip this step.
4. Select the Settings tab.
From here, you can update any of the following:
- Page heading
- Subheading
- URL
- Heading style
- Page visibility
- Page body
Editing the page body
If you only need to make changes to the page content, we recommend switching the editor to HTML view (</>). This makes it easier to edit specific sections of the existing content without affecting the page formatting.
Once you've made your changes, save the page.
Adding the Page to Your Website Navigation
If you'd like to add a link to one of these pages in your website navigation:
1. Navigate to Website > Menus.
2. Select the menu you would like to edit:
- Top Bar
- Header
- Footer
3. Click Create menu item.
4. Enter a Label for the menu item, for example: Terms, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy or Contact
5. Under Link details, select Link to existing page.
6. Choose the relevant page from the dropdown list.
7. Select whether the link should open in the same tab or a new tab.
8. Click Submit to save the new menu item.
Tip: If you're making substantial changes to your pages, it's a good idea to review the page on your website afterwards to ensure the formatting and content display as expected.
