Deleting a customer account
Learn how to anonymise a customer account when a customer requests the removal of their personal information.
Before you start
Customer accounts cannot currently be permanently deleted from the system by either the customer or an administrator.
As a temporary measure, customer records can be anonymised to remove personally identifiable information while retaining the underlying account record for system purposes.
How to anonymise a customer account
1. Navigate to the customer's record in Admin.
2. Edit the customer's details.
3. Replace the customer's name and email address with a placeholder such as:
Account Anonymised
4. Save your changes.
The customer's personal information will no longer be associated with the account.
