Gift Vouchers: Redeeming and Account Requirements
This article explains how customers can redeem Gift Vouchers and outlines the account requirements for redemption.
Redeeming a Gift Voucher on the Shop:
To redeem a Gift Voucher, the customer must be logged in to their account:
1. Log in to the customer account.
2. From the profile page, select Redeem voucher.
3. Enter the Gift Voucher code.
4. Click Redeem.
Alternatively, customers can:
1. Add tickets to their basket.
2. Select Redeem voucher from the right panel
3. Enter the Gift Voucher code.
4. Click Redeem.
Once redeemed, the Gift Voucher value is added to the customer’s account balance and can be used towards ticket purchases.
Redeeming a Gift Voucher via Box Office
Gift Vouchers can also be redeemed through Box Office by following these steps:
1. Add tickets to the basket via Box Office.
2. Add the customer details. If the customer does not already have an account, create one.
3. From the right-hand panel, select Redeem voucher.
4. Enter the Gift Voucher code.
5. Click Redeem.
Once the Gift Voucher has been redeemed, the value will be added to the customer’s account balance. This balance can then be used to purchase tickets. The customer/Box Office User must select Split payment as the payment method if the value of the balance is less than the total basket.
Please note: A customer account is required to redeem a Gift Voucher. Gift Vouchers are linked to a customer profile, so redemption is not possible without an account.
