Taking door sales with Stripe

To take card payments for door sales, you’ll need a compatible Stripe payment terminal. We recommend one of the two BBPOS options below, depending on how you want to run your box office.

Best for mobile setups

  • Compact and cost-effective

  • Connects to an Android phone via the Box Office Pro app

  • Ideal for smaller venues or on-the-go sales

Best for fixed box offices

  • Works well with a computer-based setup

  • Better suited to higher sales volumes

Box Office Pro App Information

  • The Box Office Pro app is currently only available on Android devices.

  • An internet connection is required to process payments and sync ticket inventory. This can be mobile data or Wi-Fi.

  • The app is not fully offline, but it can handle intermittent connectivity.

  • We strongly recommend testing signal strength at your venue in advance of events.


Door Sales and Ticket Inventory

All door sales made through the Box Office Pro app are fully connected to LBO.

This means:

  • Ticket inventory is updated in real time

  • Overselling is prevented automatically

  • All sales appear in your standard reports and analytics


Ticket Delivery

A printer is not required for door sales.

Tickets can be:

  • Emailed to customers with a QR code, or

  • Issued as paper tickets if you prefer

This allows you to choose the setup that best suits your venue and audience
