Editing reservations

Editing reservations

This article explains the actions available when managing a reservation, including completing, expiring, and reviewing order communications.

1. Complete order

Completing a reservation converts it into a confirmed order.

When you complete a reservation:

  • You are taken into the box office checkout to finish payment.

  • Any items currently in the basket will be cleared.

  • Tickets will be fully issued once checkout is completed.

This option should be used when you are ready to finalise the customer’s purchase.

2. View email log

The email log allows you to review the communication sent for an order.

From here, you can:

  • See when confirmation emails were sent.

  • Resend the order confirmation email if required.

This is useful if a customer has not received their confirmation or requests it to be resent.

3. Resend payment reminder

You can resend a payment reminder for reserved orders.

This allows you to:

  • Resend the reminder email to prompt the customer to complete payment.

  • Amend the email address the confirmation or reminder is sent to, if needed.

4. Expire order

Expiring an order removes the reservation without completing the purchase.

When a reservation is expired:

  • The order is removed from the customer’s basket.

  • The tickets are released and placed back on sale.

This option should be used when a reservation is no longer required.

5. Process Previous Transaction

Use this option to review or action a previously attempted transaction associated with the reservation, such as retrying payment or checking transaction status.
