Setting ticket on-sale and off-sale dates and times

Setting ticket on-sale and off-sale dates and times

This guide explains how to schedule when a ticket becomes available for purchase and when it stops selling by setting on-sale and off-sale dates and times.

How to set an on-sale or off-sale date and time

To set the on-sale or off-sale date and time for a ticket:
1. Go to the Event dashboard
2. Select the ticket you want to edit.
3. Scroll down to Purchase settings
4. Set the on-sale and or off-sale date and time.
You do not need to set both. Setting either one is sufficient.

Important information
  1. Setting an on-sale or off-sale date and time allows tickets to go on sale automatically.
  2. The event status must be set to Upcoming and Visible for this to work correctly.
  3. The on-sale date and time only control when tickets become available. They do not control when the event itself is visible. Ensure the event status is set correctly for automatic ticket release.
Recommended setting
If you set an off-sale date, it is recommended that you enable Hide when off-sale on the ticket editing page. This ensures the ticket is no longer visible once it goes off sale.
