Change order: move dates

Scenario: a customer has bought tickets for an event and wants to change their booking to attend the same event on a different date. Assuming these repeating events are grouped  in a schedule, you can simply move the dates from one event to another.

MOVE DATES
First open the customer order, scroll down to the Order Items box and click the Move Dates button


From there, a table of available dates will appear. Simply select the date you wish to switch to. You’ll then be prompted to choose the ticket type and, if applicable, new seats.correcting or changing ticket dates for scheduled events.

If the Move dates button is greyed out, you need to enable rebooking in the event schedule settings as detailed below.


ENABLE REBOOKING
In order to allow box office users to change the event date for a ticket purchased for an event within a schedule, 'staff rebooking' needs to be enabled. 

You can find this setting along the following pathway: 

1. From any event within the schedule, select Manage schedule:

2. Select Schedule settings

3. Select Rebooking settings and enable Allow staff rebooking

Alert
Date changes can only be made within events that are part of the same schedule. Moving a booking to a completely different event isn’t supported by the system and would require a refund instead
