How to copy an event

Copying an event is a quick and efficient way to create a new event using the structure of an existing one. Whether the original event is past or upcoming, copying it allows you to reuse its setup and significantly reduce preparation time.

How to Copy an Event

  1. Go to the Event Dashboard of the event you would like to copy.
  2. Select Actions.
  3. Under Advanced actions, choose Copy this event.

The system will create a duplicate of the event with all associated settings.

When you copy an event, the following details are duplicated:

  • Ticket types

  • Products

  • Sales banner

  • Event listing page

  • Seating plan, including any agency holds

This makes it especially useful for repeat performances, touring productions, or similar events at the same venue.


After Copying

Once the event has been copied:

  • Review and edit any required details, such as date, time, pricing, or descriptions.

  • Double-check seating plans and holds to ensure they are correct for the new performance.

To quickly locate your copied event, use the search bar and type in the event name.
