Issue complimentary tickets
There are two ways to issue complimentary tickets in the system:
ISSUE ANY ORDER AS COMPLIMENTARY VIA BOX OFFICE
- Any existing ticket type can be issued as complimentary through the Box Office.
- To do this, add your tickets of choice to the cart as usual.
- At checkout, select the Complimentary payment method. This will complete the transaction without any charge.
Note: The Complimentary payment method will only be available to Box Office staff and not to the general public.
CREATE TICKET TYPES SPECIFICALLY FOR COMPLIMENTARY USE
- If you want to create ticket types specifically for complimentary distribution, you can control where these tickets are available for purchase.
- When creating or editing the ticket type, you can choose whether it is available for purchase in the Shop or Box Office.
- To make the complimentary ticket only available in the Box Office (and hidden from public view), deselect the Shop option. This ensures the ticket type is not visible to customers on the public ticket shop but can still be issued by Box Office staff.
