Creating access codes

You can create and manage access codes to offer limited pre-sale on your events. Follow the steps below to create and configure access codes.

Creating an Access code

1. Navigate to Basket codes
From the left-hand menu, go to E-commerce > Basket codes.

2. Click on Access codes and then + Create access code button 

3. Name your Access code
Enter a name for the discount using only letters and/or numbers.
Note: Special characters and spaces are not allowed.

Applied to...

Use this section to specify what the access code applies to:

  1. Specific items or
  2. Events or
  3. Schedules

Eligibility settings

Define who can use the access code and under what conditions. Eligibility settings may include:

  1. Maximum uses
  2. Validity period (start and end date)

Show access code input

After creating the access code, you’ll need to make the input box visible so customers can enter the code: 

  1. Head to the event dashboard
  2. Select edit event details 
  3. Toggle on Show event page access code input
