Seating plan: hiding/unhiding seats

Seating plan: hiding/unhiding seats

This article will guide you through the steps to hide specific seats on a seating plan that’s already been attached to an event. Hiding seats can be useful for blocking off areas not in use, removing restricted-view seating, or managing allocations.

Hiding Seats

To hide seats on a seating plan:

1. Navigate to the Event Dashboard.

2. Select Manage Seating Plan.

3. Click to select the seat(s) you’d like to hide.

4. From the panel that appears on the right, select Hidden

(Alternatively, you can also select Restricted to... should you like to only make those seats available to specific roles on the backend)

Once hidden, the selected seats will no longer appear as available for booking on the front end.

Making Seats Available Again

To unhide a seat:

1. Select the hidden seat(s) on the seating plan.
2. From the right-hand panel, select Available.

This will return the seat(s) to public view and make them available for booking.
